Q: Where are you located?
A: My studio is in my home in Simsbury but I serve most of Farmington Valley and surrounding areas including Simsbury, West Simsbury, Weatogue, Avon, Canton, Farmington, Granby, North Granby, East Granby and even Bloomfield and West Hartford. We bring all of the design samples to you so that we can review the colors, textures and finishes in lighting of your own home!
If you’d like to reach me, of course, you can give me a call at 860-431-0127. Alternatively, you can just submit your information via our Contact Us page, and I’ll reach out to you.
Q: How can you offer free design services?
A: We are like any other retail establishment in that we buy at wholesale and sell at retail. The difference is that I shop through the vast network of over 150 suppliers Decorating Den Interiors works with. These suppliers look at Decorating Den sales nationwide and many of them offer me very competitive pricing without having to carry all the overhead of a brick and mortar store. You can rest assured that the design I present is what I think is going to meet your family’s needs and budget. I’m never trying to unload the orange sofa that has been on the sales floor for years.
Q: Will you work with my existing pieces/furnishings that are in the room?
A: Absolutely! We are environmentally friendly and budget conscious with decisions that are made. Plus, many families have treasured pieces of furnishings/artwork/etc that they want to be incorporated into the new design plan!
Q: How does Decorating Den Interiors work?
A: First, we believe that your initial consultation should cost you absolutely nothing. It is critical for us to get to know each other, and for us to become completely familiar with the project that you have in mind. We will develop recommendations which will be tailored to meet YOUR needs, and create a look and feel that is both beautiful and personalized.
A: You certainly shouldn’t. I want to make sure you end up loving your space and that comes from more than just the plans we come up with. You also have to enjoy the process. That’s not going to happen if I apply high pressure sales techniques. When we have the consultation, we are just going to talk about your home, your style and your budget. Based on your input, I can then come up with a design for you. You’ll review the design once it is complete. You decide if you want to buy from me. Either I can design your room the way you want – within your budget – or I can’t. It’s up to you to decide.
No pressure. It’s that simple.
A: Yes 🙂
